SpotMini of Boston Dynamics was released at the end of last year and enjoyed the design of the "big brother" Spot. While the company often demonstrate advanced prototypes of emerging projects, SpotMini seemed ready for mass production from the beginning.

On its Web site Boston Dynamics stresses that SpotMini is "the most silent robot which they are built. The device weighs about 66 pounds and can run for about 90 minutes on battery.

In parallel, Boston Dynamics robot presented his čovekopodobniâ Atlas, which can run. The current version could go a couple of steps and do a somersault. The new version, in addition to running, can keep a balance on one leg and doing a somersault backward.

Boston Dynamics was founded in 1992 by Robotics specialist Mark Rajbert as a University of Massachusetts startp. In 2013, the company was bought by Google and became popular after the development of the military robot BigDog four-footed by order of the Ministry of Defense of the United States.
